    It is the largest and most famous spa treatment center in the Balkans. It was one of the first to use modern physical and preventive medicine, rehabilitation, thalassotherapy and wellness in a complex, thanks to which he became one of the main international centers for the rehabilitation of children, adults and the elderly. The institute was founded in 1949.
    The main natural treatment factor is the Igalo’s mud, which is used for applications and mud baths.

The medicine:

Treatment factors: mud from the Igalo Bay has a high level of minerals and biologically active substances; mineral water – an important factor in treatment and rehabilitation.

Prophylaxis: Anti-stress program, prevention of osteoporosis and metabolic disorders, weight loss program. Doctors: a physiotherapist, a rheumatology, a cardiologist and other specialists.

Rehabilitation: rheumatology, cardiology, respiratory, neurological, sports injuries, musculoskeletal system.

Therapies: Hydrotherapy – underwater shower, pearl baths, salt baths, aroma therapy; Thalassotherapy; Hydrokinesitherapy; Manual massage; Kinesiotherapy; Electrotherapy; ultrasound therapy; Magnetotherapy; Laser therapy.

Facilities of hotel:

Medical staff – more than 300 people, all employees speak English or Russian.
Accommodation in the Phase II building – 417 comfortable rooms, most of which have a sea view. The building houses a therapeutic department, clinic, 2 restaurants, 4 aperitif bars, sports and recreation center, conference room, beauty salon, dentist’s office, shops.

Conference rooms:

Large hall for 300 seats, three small halls for 25-100 seats with technical equipment.

Sports:

Indoor sports pool (35×25 m), basketball, volleyball, handball, billiards, sauna, table tennis, gym, bowling.

Attention: prices for medical packages are valid only when paid together with accommodation at the Institute in the company R-TOURS.
All procedures are available on any day of the week except Sunday.

The content of the program is determined by the doctor depending on the patient’s health status and its functional capabilities. Diet as directed by the doctor. Emergency medical care is paid according to the price list in the period 14:00-22:00 in the amount of 100%, and 22:00-07:00 in the amount of 200%.

*Group therapy: free swimming, group exercises, tai chi, kinetic group therapy, relaxation.

** Individual Therapy: mud applications or baths, underwater massage shower, pearl baths, mineral baths, galvanic baths, CO2 baths, inhalations, manual massage (local, lymphatic, reflexology), individual kinesitherapy, kinesi yoga, postural drainage.

Sports facilities:

For organized sports groups, the Institute offers: accommodation, meals, therapeutic unit, sports pool, gym, sports hall for most sports, sauna, medical and therapeutic assistance, equipped meeting rooms, the possibility of organizing friendly matches.

Near the Institute are: Sports Center 150 m for all sports, open sports grounds and tennis; a 7-minute walk from a grass football field; additional platforms with all equipment.

Double Standard Room

DBL: 26 m2, balcony overlooking the sea or the city, double bed or two separate beds, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, telephone, TV, refrigerator, bath/toilet, doctor’s call button. All Institute Phase II rooms are renovated.

One-Bedroom Suite

Suite: 55 m2, balcony with sea or city view, double bed or two single beds, living room with sofa, kitchen, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, telephone, TV, refrigerator, bath/toilet, doctor’s call button. All Institute Phase II rooms are renovated.

Food

Breakfast, dinner – buffet (included in the price).
Supplement for lunch +8 euro per person per day.
Vegetarian dishes are also offered.

Beach

Municipal 100 m – pebbles, platform.
Sun loungers and umbrellas – for a fee.
