The ancient city of sailors – Kotor is located on the shores of the Bay of Kotor at the bottom of mount Lovcen. The Bay of Kotor is the largest and most beautiful fjord in the Mediterranean ,it was describe by: Lord Byron, Bernard Shaw and Nobel laureate Ivo Andric.
Kotor is surrounded by fortress walls, which rise to the top of the hill, from where an amazingly beautiful view of the Old Town and the bay opens up. In this city, not one, but three doors open up in front of you, which guard the historical treasure of culture and art of this city: the Clock Tower (VIII century), the Church of St. Luke (XII century), the Prince’s Palace (VII century) and many other. Kotor was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979.
In the Old Town of Kotor you can find a large number of shops and boutiques. Boutiques offer a contemporary and signature selection of clothing, mostly from Italian designers, while gift shops offer a huge selection of unique pieces and jewelry.
Kotor is located 15 minutes from Tivat airport and about 2 hours drive from Podgorica airport.
